why didn't my return go through when I filed on 4/15/25 and put a reserve of $8634 in my checking account?

Part of the problem might be that Intuit never sent me a 2024 until idisk and I kept fishing for it before I finally went online

Did you want to use the Desktop program?  They don't sell the CDs anymore.  You buy the Download program.  Did you get charged in November for the Desktop program?  

 

It didn't go through?  Did you go all the way to the end, though the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?  Did you efile or mail it? If you efiled was it Accepted? When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile. Check back though your emails and spam/junk folder.  If it rejected, what was the reject code or reason?


When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?
