Why did Turbo Tax Assume I want my State Refund by check?

You are asked in the FILE section how you want to receive your state refund and you are given the chance to enter banking information for a direct deposit.  If you did not enter anything, then it defaults to a check which the state will mail to the address on your tax return.

This happened to me too and it said I declined my efile option for the state taxes, which was incorrect.

Yes, every other year that is correct. But this time my file must have been corrupt because I was not given that option for my State taxes. Only federal.
