Why are my taxes still showing processing in july?

I submitted my taxes before the tax deadline and now almost 2 months later when I check the IRS website it still says that they are in processing but whenever I pull my transcript it says that there is no trace of processing tax forms or that I have even submitted my tax documents. Why would it be doing this? I called the irs and they said they dont have any information for me until my taxes show that they have been processed.

You are not alone. Millions are still waiting. Turbo Tax only gives you an estimated date. The IRS usually pays most refunds within 21 days. But these are not normal times. This year is taking the IRS longer to send the refunds. There are millions more people filing returns to get the Stimulus payment.

Only the IRS can tell you. If your return was Accepted then check IRS Where's my refund

thank you so much for letting me know. Also turbo tax is now wanting to take the charge for them filing my taxes out of my personal banking account over taking them out of my taxes as I had initially set them up to be charged from. They said it is because that fact that I have not been refunded from my taxes that they assumed it means that I wasnt going to receive them or that they were possibly being altered. Seeing as this is a all around happening is there a way to prevent them from doing this and them wait until my taxes are actually approved and refunded or do I just bite the bullet and accept the transfer for them to be paid?

@ashleyc7989 You can call in and ask for a delay for the auto debit.

Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund?  Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive?  Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account.  TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.

If the IRS is taking too long to send your refund or reduced it. See What if the IRS reduces your refund or delays it.

Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the fees out again.

And, Why you got charged,
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/why-was-my-bank-account-auto-debited-for-turbotax-fees/00/26102

You should have received about 4 emails asking for the fees. If you don't pay they will debit your account. You had to agree to it. Check your spam folder for emails.
