Why am I still getting "Your refund is waiting" emails from Turbotax even though I have submitted my returns and Federal/State returns have been accepted?

Do you have more than one account?  if you have more than one TT account that would be why.  If you know you filed and the return has been processed, ignore the emails.

Did you e-file?  Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds           Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?”

Note: If it says “Ready to Mail” or “Printed” that means YOU have to mail it yourself.  TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you.

Because whoever writes the email content has a a dubious ethical stance. Those are clickbait, and I don't appreciate them either.

If you open the emails, they basically say "...if you start your filing now!"  It's a sales funnel.

Intuit sure is losing a lot of face with this consumer lately.

Turbo Tax sends me e-mails every day sweating me to start/finish/file/review my taxes. They really need to get this in check. I have been with Turbo Tax for 7 years but I am thinking about switching to another company just so I don't get all the e-mails.

You can change the preferences on your TurboTax account to stop the promotional emails. Please see the information here for assistance on changing those settings.
