Why am I getting an email about a refund advance application when I didn’t apply?

I filed my taxes early and chose direct deposit. I just got an email from TurboTax saying thanks for my refund advance application. I never applied for that. Why am I getting this email? This is the email,

Thank you for your application for Refund Advance. Before we can make a decision on your application, the following must first be completed:

  • Your tax filing must be accepted by the IRS

This must be completed no later than February 28th, 2025. If the IRS has not accepted your tax filing on or before that date, we will regrettably be unable to give further consideration to your Refund Advance application.”

Why would I get this email if I haven’t applied for refund advance? I never saw that as an option when filing nor do I want that option. I only ever do direct deposit. I can’t figure out how to contact TurboTax directly to resolve this issue. Any ideas on what this could be about?

I too got this message when I didn't apply.  Turbo tax seems to have a lot of issues in recent years.
