While using the, 'Where's my refund' tool on IRS website, my refund showed as 'sent' just yesterday. Today, it is back to 'processing.' Does that mean I made a mistake?

From what I understand the irs had a glitch in the system but you did not mae a mistake. A lot of us have seen that message. Keep checking and the status should change
