To amend your return, make sure your federal and state return, if applicable, have been successfully electronically filed and processed. Please see how do I check my e-file status for more information.
To amend your return, follow the steps in this link.
- When you amend your return, you will be able to delete the input for your 1095-A form by going to the Deductions & Credits section of the program.
- Select the Affordable Care Act.
- On the screen titled "Here's what we have for your 1095-As," select delete to the right of the applicable policy number. This will remove the input on your tax return for that specific 1095-A. If you need to add a corrected 1095-A, select +Add another.
