Where do you put uneploment if they pulled taxes out of you?

When we received our uneploment we had federal and state taxes pulled.  Would it be under w-2 or 1099?

Yes, it would be a 1099G. To enter your 1099G for unemployment compensation please follow the steps below:

  • Click on Federal Taxes
  • Click on Wages and Income
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if you see this screen)
  • Under Unemployment
  • On Unemployment and Paid Family Leave, click the start or update button

Or you can enter unemployment compensation in the search box located in the top right of the TurboTax screen and then hit enter and click on jump to unemployment compensation.
