Where can i find on my tax form the amount i paid in taxes 1040

That can mean several things.  Do you want the total tax on your income?  Or just the tax due?  Or what you paid in withholding?  And what taxes?  Federal?  Federal and state?  

For 2018, the total federal tax that you paid is on line 15 of your 2018 Form 1040. The amount of federal tax that was withheld during the year is on line 16. If you had a payment due when you filed your tax return, the amount that you had to pay is on line 22 of your 2018 Form 1040.

The line numbers are different for other years.
