Where can I find my order numbers for past orders? I deleted the email containing that information and can't seem to find it on my account.

Instructions

Assuming you purchased your product directly from us, you can look up your TurboTax order here. Or look through your inbox for an email with the subject line "Your TurboTax Payment Confirmation" (or similar).

If you used TurboTax Online last year, you can find your order number by doing this:

  1. Sign in using last year's login (if you're not already signed in).
  2. Go to your Tax Home, if you're not already on it, by selecting Tax Home from the menu on the left side of your screen (on mobile devices, tap in the upper left corner to open the menu).
  3. Select Show to expand Your Tax Returns and Documents, and then select View order details.
  4. Once you have your order number, look up the details here.

If you're not seeing anything, you may be signed in with a different login from last year. To find all your TurboTax account logins, go here and follow the instructions.

Another possibility is that you paid last year's fees out of your federal refund with the Refund Processing service. In that case, those fees may not appear in your account.

I haven't submitted my returns yet, so the tax returns and documents tab is empty.  I'm trying to use the order number to submit a return/refund request.

This doesn't work. When your logged into Turbo Tax their is no Turbo Tax Home in upper left of screen on PC Windows 10!

This is a new forum layout. Some posts that have June 2019 dates are really older posts from the old forum that got moved over. So they might be for prior years and not current info. When they migrated over the dates got changed to June 2019. And the screen shots got deleted.

CD/DOWNLOAD (This requires a full PC or Mac—-cannot be used on a mobile device)

You can also purchase the CD/download from various retailers such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, Sam’s Club, etc. etc. etc.

When you use desktop software, there is an additional fee to e-file a state return.  You can avoid that fee if you print, sign and mail the state return.  The state e-file fee is $19.99 and increases in March.

Go to this TurboTax website to purchase the 2020 desktop software - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

After you click on Buy Now a window will open for you to select the type of operating you are using.  If you want a CD instead of a Download click on the blue link

The order number will be listed at Tax Home. Scroll down to Your Tax Returns and Documents, and then select View order details.
