When you do an amended return and owe money does turbo tax give the IRS your bank account number for them to automatically take it out, or do you mail it?

I had to amend my taxes, and I believe that I accidentally hit the button that allows Turbo Tax to let the IRS take out of my account what I owe on a certain date. How do I find out if I did that or not.

It would need to be mailed. The amended return does not have the electronic payment option that an e-filed return has. The 1040X needs to be mailed in along with any tax payment due.
