It sounds like you are confused about your tax years. In 2013 you would have filed a 2012 return. In 2016 you would have filed a 2015 return. That is assuming you filed them in the years you were supposed to file.
If you are filing those years now you need the 2012 program to complete the 2012 return and the 2015 program to complete the 2015 return. If you got the incorrect program then you need to get that corrected since you cannot complete a 2015 return using the 2016 program ... the IRS will have a field day with you if you do.
Alas...2012 software is no longer available nor is it supported by TurboTax. You could get the forms from the IRS and prepare 2012 manually. <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs">https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs</a>
Thanks for responses. In looking for voucher payment entry, it took me to estimated taxes for the subsequent year. All good.
