Filed state & federal taxes but when I try to print copy of return the pages print without my information....
@Browndog are you saving a PDF file to your computer before trying to print?
Yes I save it to my computer and then print...it's showing my taxes...all the numbers... perfect...but then when it prints ...my numbers aren't on the pages...just the tax forms....blank
Sounds like it may be an issue with your PDF program. Please make sure you have the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer. Please see this TurboTax FAQ Troubleshoot printing issues for additional help.
Your advice is not working. There is a problem with either Adobe and/or TurboTax.
@TN8 Did you choose to pay with your refund and if so, did you receive your refund yet?
No, I didn't pay with my refund. I bought the CD and paid for the state submission with a credit card. Not sure why you would ask that and can't imagine what that would have to do with a print function. So far what I have discovered is that this is a very common problem that has been occurring on and off again for about the past three years. Obviously it is not being addressed well by either company. The only thing I have been able to determine is that seems to related to a problem with Adobe DC reader and how it is interacting with the PDF file that TurboTax produces. The only working solution that I have found is to remove/uninstall Adobe DC reader entirely from your Windows 10 system. Then you can use and print from the MS Edge browser which has a native pdf reader of its own. I'm sure one can use the Chrome or Firefox browser just as easily but I haven't tried it.

I have the most recent version of adobe. What’s next to trouble shoot this?
I was completely frustrated with this problem too. I think intuit is in cahoots with the printer companies. I printed my forms out several times and even though they were showing in the print preview as populated, they were not printing populated. I tried from my laptop, phone, tried saving them in different formats, etc. Nothing worked. That is until I put a new ink cartridge in my printer. I wasn't out of black ink, in fact it wasn't even showing as low.
when you print click the advanced button in the print screen and select print as an image then it worked. it took me 40 minutes to figure this out and turbotax online help is horrible.
Thanks a lot for the tip. It worked. Hope turbotax clearly advises the users to make sure to select this option Print-->Advanced-->Print to Image. Otherwise many people will waste valuable time and paper. I spent more than 1 hour to try all options before trying this option.
This is a known issue that we are working to resolve. You can sign up for notifications and progress updates in the below TurboTax Help Article.
TurboTax is experiencing a temporary problem printing returns
I also have waisted hours and paper, etc trying to get a good printout. TurboTax should be ashamed that they have not fixed this problem.
