When do the taxes paid in an installment plan get credited? I don’t see that we get credited at all even though they are federal taxes paid in 2021 for a previous year.

Generally, it takes one to three weeks for a recent payment to be credited to your account.

 

Individuals can view the current amount owed and payment history by viewing your IRS Online Account

 

Viewing your tax account requires identity authorization with security checks.

 

If you do not have an Online account follow these steps:

 

• Go to IRS.gov and select “View Your Account”

• Select the “Log in to your Online Account” button

• Click “Create Account”
