What if I forgot that I received unemployment in 2016 and just got my document in the mail but I've already filed my taxes?

You will have to amend your tax return to add 1099-G you have not reported yet. 

If your return has been submitted- please wait - if it's rejected for some reason, you can add your 1099-G and re-send the return.

If your return has been submitted and accepted- you will have to amend; the return is mailed; takes about 16 weeks to process. Here are amending instructions:
