Correct.  The IRS will send you back the tax return for a signature.

Will you be charged a late fee? I forgot to sign both state and federal, I sent them three weeks ago but have not received any response.

A late filing fee and a late payment fee is assessed if you owe taxes and have not paid the taxes or filed the tax return on or before April 15, 2015.  If you are due a refund there is not a late filing fee.

Is it not advised to send another copy of my taxes with my signature? Will resending negatively impact my 2014 taxes?

I mailed in my federal tax return with my check but forgot to sign it. Will I be assessed a late fee?

What if I forgot to sign the 1040x form will that send that back too? Or should I just go ahead and reprint it, sign it, and send it in again

I mailed them back to irs March 26 2020 and they have my direct deposit I forgot to sign so I did and I can't get no response? Why is that? So will they put it in direct deposit or mail it since they mailed it and I mailed it back.
