W2 blocks 3, 4, 5 & 6 were not included in turbotax and the federal was e-filed and accepted. Is it necessary to file an amended Federal tax form showing these amounts?

W2 blocks 3, 4, 5 & 6 had amounts in them.  These were not included (an oversight)  in turbotax and the federal was e-filed and accepted.  Is it necessary to file an amended Federal tax form showing these amounts?

Yes.  You will not get credit within the social security system for those wages if those amounts are not recorded with the IRS and passed to the social security administration.  Do this even if it doesn't change your tax liability, and attach a copy of the W-2 to your 1040X amended tax return.
