Under 1040 Schd A, I selected Home mortgage not reported to you on form 1098. But TT selected option a with reported to you on form 1098, should I amend returns?

this is a second home bought in India, where we stay atleast a month every year and we didnt receive 1098 form from our bank(State Bank of India).

No.  The interest is treated the same whether it is reported on the 1098 or not.  Amending would not make a change in your return.

In general, you should not amend your return until your return has been processed, so if the IRS is looking for the 1098, they would contact you or send you a letter of correction and you would simply respond to that.
