TurboTax said I owed XXX money to the IRS, so they charged me and took my money through direct deposit. Months later, the IRS sent my money back but through mail. That check then got lost in the mail.
Now that I call the IRS refund line, they tell me they can’t find my return status even though my information is correct. How do I get a new check, or even direct deposit like it SHOULD have been. TurboTax charged me for support incase of something like this happening, and I have no support or clue what happened or what I should do next
If your check is not to be paid, you can put stop payment on it. contact the bank
Contact your bank and do a dispute, provide as much proof or evidence you can to help your case
If the IRS check is missing, you have to aks IRS to trace it. There's a form for that.
