I am preparing the amended state tax returns for California with Desktop versions.
When I reviewed the documents at the end, I found that the number in the line 126 of 540NR is wrong.
It should have referred to Schedule X, line 11; however, it just shows the same number as 540NR, line 125.
I have talked to three representatives including a tax expert so far, but they don't know how to correct it.
In my opinion, this is a bug of the program. I found this issue in 2020 and 2021 versions. I will see if the same thing happens in 2022 version, too.
To fix this kind of program issue, who should I contact?
