TurboTax is asking me for my total withheld payments from my 2021 tax return, which I prepared with TurboTax last year, but I don’t see clearly where that is.

I found some boxes on my 2021 tax return that might be the data that is wanted but they are blank.  I feel fairly certain I had funds withheld marked down on my 2021 W-2.  Should I just enter $0?

Taxes withheld are reported on form 1040 on line 25a (for tax withheld on form W-2), line 25b (for tax withheld on forms 1099) and line 25c (for tax withheld on other forms).

I see those boxes now, thank you.

I think my confusion was that my W-2 says I had taxes withheld for social security, but none for Federal Income, and the boxes you are referring to are specifically for Federal Income.  My W-2 was blank for Federal Income Taxes Withheld so it makes sense that the resultant tax return from TurboTax would have a blank box for 25a.

Thanks for your help!
