Turbotax is adding spouses income to form 1-NR/PY even though we are filing separately. I cannot find a way to adjust this, please help.

I filed separately federally, and am now doing a non-resident MA filing (live in NH, work in MA). My wife is a F1 visa student so we are filing separately (both federally and state). When I go through the prompts, it seems intuit turbotax is adding her income to mine for 12a? of the form. This is a causing a prompt for explaining why my "total federal income" is more than 10% larger than my MA income. do I just write that it is due to my spouses income? is there a way to manually enter just my income into 12a?

Since you're filing separately, you shouldn't be adding your spouse's income to your return. Can you let me know where in the program it asked for your spouse's income?

intuit turbo tax asks for my spouses AGI etc towards the end of the first block/step of the state return... (general info).
It does so on a page labeled: Additional Information Needed - Married Filing Separately.

I think I know what to do if I just had access to the raw form, but intuit turbo tax seems to not give you such an option :(

If you purchase the Turbo Tax software, you will have access to the form. You can download one here.
