TurboTax asked about my 1st stimulus but not 2nd and bc i filed w them last year wont get and need 2 claim it how do I change it since my taxes are done but not submitted

As most know Turbotax is blocking our 2nd stimulus payments and IRS requires us to claim them on taxes, they already asked me if i received the first one but I need to claim the second one. My taxes have been ready to send in but this needs to be changed.

The IRS has not yet finalized the calculations for the 2nd stimulus reported on the federal tax return, Form 1040 Line 30.

Until the IRS finalizes the Form 1040, TurboTax cannot provide any calculations for the 2nd stimulus in their software.

Yes they have. The IRS system showed my deposit was sent then later that day updated to show there was not enough information. After further research, this is a TurboTax problem and they need to fix it.

The question was concerning how to report the 2nd stimulus on a federal tax return, Form 1040.

Not whether someone received it or not.

The IRS Form 1040 (2020) instructions are not finalized - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-dft/i1040gi--dft.pdf

So I will likely be waiting until when? March or April to receive money that is desperately needed? What if I submit my taxes without this stimulus claim? Because bills are piling up and it’s ridiculous that TT is doing this. (IRS blames TT, TT blames IRS but other tax programs are fixing and sending their payments to their clients.)
