Check this website and update your bank information if necessary. AGI is line 7 on your 2018 return and line 8B on your 2019 return.

Turbo tax has nothing to do with the stimulus rebates
Can I stop getting useless responses. Does anyone know what to actually do.
id be fired if I did my job like this
I go to that site and it says no information available and have no where to enter my
info.
The link above says, it was your TurboTax fault.
You Guys have the irs send the money to your account And then you guys to take your cut and then send us the money.
anyone know anything??
that article is misleading. this is a better article explaining the issue,
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/04/16/coronavirus-cares-stimulus-check/
there is no computer 'glitch'. if the IRS website doesn't work, then be patient. You will get the stimulus money but it may be by check
The reason is that tax preparation companies received these people’s tax refunds first, deducted their fees and then distributed the remaining refunds to the customers
You guys failed to provide the info
THATS YOUR FAULT!!
By mail we need the **bleep**en check now.
your going to front me until it
comes in??
your company is a joke!! How do you sleep at night??
I will spread the word what happens here.
I need the money now and can’t wait til June.
I bet I’m not the only either dealing with this.
👏👏 in getting people evicted and cheat
people our from their money.
im sure the people in the street can use that 1200
that is correct , but because of that process, the IRS doesn't have your bank account information. It doesn't mean you don't get the stimulus, it means that worst case, it'll be rebated via check unless you are able to update your bank information at this website:
Check this website and update your bank information if necessary. AGI is line 7 on your 2018 return and line 8B on your 2019 return. Refund is line 21a of the 2019 tax return and line 20a for 2018
https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments
It doesn’t let anyone update their info.
The check is useless 6 weeks from now when people are already living on the streets.
It just says no information available.
Funny you guys have apps
for financial well-being but **bleep**ing millions over right now 👏👏
Just read it can be up to 20
weeks to receive your checks.
thank you
turbotax
@VALDIVIA1734 - while I agree it could be "up to 20 weeks", do note that they are processing the checks in income order.... so those who are going to wait the 20 weeks make over $175,000 per year.
Last I read, those making under $10,000 should receive their checks the week of April 24, under $20k the week of May 1, etc.
How about they do the right thing and start feeding the IRS our info??
I paid 160 in fees and you guys do millions of returns. Doing the math that’s a ton of money.
IRS site doesn’t give you the option to enter direct deposit info like they say.
Will TurboTax make a statement?
i can’t see how anyone can trust this company again
@VALDIVIA1734 while I understand the frustration - Turbo tax doesn't have the information to feed....
1) when you had the fees withheld from your refund, you authorized SBPTG, a sister company of Greendot bank, to create a temporary account where the IRS would send the refund. That was to make sure that TT got their fees before your saw your tax refund. THAT is the account that the IRS has.
2) then after the fees were withheld the rest of the money was deposited in to your permanent account which ties to the Greendot bank card. the IRS DOESN'T have this number.
3) the first account was closed and that is the only account number the IRS has,
4) both account numbers are part of Greendot Bank; TT has no access to these account numbers.
5) the only way to communicate the permanent account number (at the moment) to the IRS is through their GET MY PAYMENT website.
agree this is a mess
try again. the IRS announced it has fixed the problem with the website.
@Mike9241 - they may have fixed the problem with the website, but they state you can not change banking information:
these are FAQ's from the irs website:
Get My Payment will reflect the account information provided on your 2019 tax return, Non-Filer Registration, entered on Get My Payment before Dec. 22, 2020, or provided by a Federal Agency who issued benefits to you (Social Security Administration, Veteran Affairs, or Railroad Retirement Board).
Your payment information cannot be changed. If you don’t get a payment and you are eligible to receive one, it may be claimed on your 2020 tax return as the Recovery Rebate Credit.

They had one job and the problem Happen before yet they let it happen again. I’m never going my Taxes again with this joke of a company.
People need this money and let me not get started on it’s half on what people need.
if I don’t get this check, I might take
legal action, this is unbelievable.
