You may bet trying to change it a different place than where you entered
it. Property tax can be entered in the Mortgage Interest Deduction
entry screen, or it can be entered in the "Property Taxes" section of
the Deductions & Credits. If you entered it from your Form 1098 in
the mortgage interest section you need to Update that section in order
to edit it.
