Turbo tax is showing that I owe taxes for 2022, But I can show on IRS.gov that I paid in full.

TurboTax has no knowledge of whether or not the taxes owed for tax year 2022 were ever paid.  So it will always show that you owed taxes on the 2022 tax return.

TurboTax never updates to show that you paid your tax due.  TT only shows the result of the tax return that you prepared using the software.  Your proof that you paid is your own bank or credit card statement.  And..you can check your online account with the IRS.

The problem is that it is being listed as underpayment of tax liability which is being added to what I owe this year and a $99 fine is being added.

@richard-allan-fo No.  Each tax year is separate.  If you are seeing a penalty it is for 2023, not for 2022.  If you did not pay evenly throughout the tax year, you could have a penalty on line 38.

This clearly says 2022 Tax Liability from last year's federal return.
