Trying to amend 2022 return, after filing, to add Form 2210

Two things here:

There is something weird going on. If I open 2022 TTax and click to amend the 2022 return, it fills out 1040-X, Column A,  Line 1,  with a different AGI than is shown on the return it pulled the data from. Form 1040 itself has not changed but that amount in Line 1, Col A is less than I reported and the corrected amount in Col C is the original. I have not actually entered any data yet, only said that I wish to amend my return. I think there is bug here.

Continuing... all I wish to do is add Form 2210 to my existing return to claim back a penalty that I need not have paid. I can't find an appropiate category under "What do you need to change on your return?" dealing with overpayment of penalties. Any help on either matter would be appreciated.
