The president said all taxes filed this year will be deferred for 90 days after the april 15 deadline

 The Secretary of Treasury announced via Twitter that, at the direction of the President, they will extend the federal tax filing deadline to July 15, 2020. State deadlines may vary, click here to see state-by-state updates.  

Federal Tax Updates

  • The federal tax filing deadline has been extended to
    July 15, 2020
  • The federal tax payments deadline has also been extended until July 15, 2020
  • The Families First Coronavirus Response Act was signed into law providing relief for individuals, self-employed and businesses
  • More federal tax relief in response to COVID-19 is expected
