The IRS never issued a refund on previous years, though they were accepted. I've changed banks since then. Am I able to change previous direct deposit information?

I've been struggling with the IRS for years to prove my identity, and I'm finally at the end of it, but my old bank account information here is linked to that year's filing and I was hoping there was a way to change that. I don't have access to that bank account anymore.
