The 529 field of my state return has "prior year contributions not deducted" pre-populated. Where did TurboTax pull that dollar figure from?

If you used the program last year, made 529 contributions (or listed prior not deducted) and could not use it all, the program would have carried that amount over. It would be on a state worksheet from last year. Many states have income limitations which restrict deductions / credits.
