Taxes with Turbo was wrong. I now owe IRS. Need to file amendment

usually, if the IRS sends a notice of change to your return, the notice contains the procedures to follow if you do not agree.  an amended return may not be necessary.

@Blparsons64 - an amendment is not always necessary.  what did the IRS notice say? 

 

1) what is the EXACT amount of the adjustment?
