Taxes recieved, but not accepted, told to check back in mid to late February. Should I be concerned?

No, that is absolutely normal for this year. 

According to the IRS:

"If you claim the earned income tax credit (EITC) or the additional child tax credit (ACTC) on your tax return, by law the IRS, can’t issue your refund before mid-February."  Find out more about when to expect your refund.

Yes that is accurate for actual refund expected date (if claiming EIC), yet the IRS should acknowledge and accept the returns within 48 hours of online submission. Verify they were sent...

I just. Checked my "where's my refund" status...It went from accepted to telling me to check back in mid - February,and my status bar  and refund amount disappeared...IRS accepted mine on February 1st...any thoughts?

I’m having the same issue. I filed mine on February 1st. I already got my state but not my federal. It said to check back in mid February.

The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2019, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.
