Taxes on money received through wedding registry

I got married this year and received almost $4K in money towards our honeymoon (which was immediately spent to offset the cost of the honeymoon accommodations).  Do I pay taxes on this?  The money came through direct transfer from a wedding registry site, so while the total money was deposited from one source (the registry), the money initially came from several people contributing to the fund, none of them donating more than $200.

No, that was a non-taxable, non-reportable gift.

However, you can record it an nontaxable income in the Sales Tax deduction section.
