Tax return caused loss of money from my accounts

I received an email saying that my tax return was accepted and I would be receiving $1800. Instead of receiving that money, I woke up today to find out that the money had been REMOVED from my account causing my savings to be cleaned out and my account to be overdrafted. Why did this happen?!

An email from  whom?  TT does not know when the IRS issues refunds, or makes deposits to your account.   It might be a scam.  Check with your bank to see exactly what happened.
