Line 30 is to claim stimulus money nt received or less than expected b4  the tax forms its called stimulus payment  on the form its recovery credit rebate but they mean the same thing right??HECK TO THE NO how convenient  they split the to and the recovery credit rebate becomes the bait for you to say ok garnish my money for tax debt or back child support cuz they will and did leave u and I laying in the dirt eating there dust.can anything be done about this faulty practice of deceat.and what now to expect  from the 3rd one to by sighned today

Yes, it is a bit tricky with how the IRS changed the verbiage. If you think about the timing, however, of original receipt of the payment - last Spring for the first one - the "idea" is that everyone would put some or all of that back into the community. Hence why they chose to call it "stimulus payment". Now, if you did not receive it and should have, this is when the call it a "recovery rebate". I have yet to see anyone get "dinged" however for tax debt. Child support, I am not really sure. I would check on that to be certain that is, in fact, why you got less.
