So as Im entering my 1099G info for unemployment it asks me my state??? So I pull down to look for texas and it isnt on the lost nor can I type it in? How do I proceed?

You might be entering the 1099G in the wrong place.  Do not try to enter it as a W-2.

Unemployment compensation is taxable on your federal return.  Enter your 1099G for unemployment in Federal>Wages and Income>Unemployment
