Should I see my 2018 taxes in the 2019 desktop version? I have always seen prior year's taxes in the desktop application but can't see 2018 in the 2019 desktop version.

If you have not changed computers, you .tax2018 tax return should be in the TurboTax folder in Documents in your computer. When you first start your 2019 tax return, TurboTax will ask if you want to transfer your 2018 information to your 2019 tax return. When you answer yes, TurboTax searches for your 2018 file and will usually ask you to select it to transfer from. Did you miss that step when you first started your return?

I ended up doing a test and opening a new file. I chose last year's file again and imported. This time the data stuck and I see the numbers from 2018.
