Should I file my tax return again if I mailed it to a IRS office different from that Turbo Tax instructed?

Hi,

Should I  file my tax return again if I mailed to DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY- 5045 E BUTLER AVE- FRESNO, CA 93727,US while Turbo Tax instructed me to send to Department of the Treasury| Internal Revenue Service| Fresno, CA 93888, US? I've just realized this mistake of mine and appreciate your advice!

For context, I filed form 1040, Married Filed Separately on 3/18 and live in Washington state. My tax return form was delivered to 5045 E Butler Ave- Fresno, CA 93727 on 3/18 via UPS. As I checked in IRS "Where is my refund?", the websites "We cannot provide any information about your refund". This makes me think that IRS hasn't received my return form due to the wrong address.

No.  Do not mail again.    It should get forward to the correct address.  Two tax returns in the system at the same time can delay both for a year or more.

Note that the IRS is currently not processing mailed returns at all - just storing them.

**NOTE*** Due to the Corona virus the IRS is operating short staffed. All field offices are closed and some processing centers are all but closed. Any tax return that requires hand processing will probably have long delays. Mailed returns are not being processed at all at this time. Most phone service has been curtailed.

If you mail filed then you don't.    You only file once.
