Should I be filing that I received the stimilus money for 2020 if my dad received the money and not me

I am doing my own return this year as I worked and got pua. the question on the federal return asks if I received the stimilus money. I put yes as my father received it in his name. Is that the correct answer?

No that is not correct.   YOU did not receive stimulus money.   And if you were older than 16 your father did not receive stimulus money for you.  Parents only get stimulus money for children who are younger than 17.  You do not enter anything there that was not paid to you personally.

You do have to enter your W-2 and your unemployment 1099G.   Are you still a dependent on your parents' return?   You need to make sure you are answering that question in My Info correctly.  If your parents CAN claim you as a dependent for 2020 then you have to say on your own return that you can be claimed as someone else's dependent.
