Routing and account numbers are not included in my fed/state tax return applications

I provided the bank routing and acc numbers correctly while submitting my return using turbo tax premier. However, they show up as xxxxxxxxx in both my fed and state returns. Not sure why this happened, appears to be a bug in turbo tax.

Could someone please tell how to fix it? I owe fed & state taxes, and i am worried about penalties.

You don't fix it, they show as x's for security reasons.  The numbers you entered are submitted by e-file.

Thanks! In my earlier returns , the routing /acc numbers didn't show up as x's, so I was a little concerned.

Appreciate your response.

Hello,

I had similar issue this year. I entered my bank details but it was showing XXXXXXXXXXX in account number and routing number fields. I owe federal tax and I get state refund. What happened in your case? Did IRS & state took the money out of your account that you entered while filing? Did you received any notices from IRS that your details are wrong?

Please let me know.

Thanks
