Return on hold (new account than prior years due to change in filing status) - If I submitted to turbotax today (on time) will the hold make me late?
As stated: I finished my taxes today and got notice that there was a 48-hr hold due to using the new account as turbotax suggests due to the new filing status. Will the date of submission (today, April 14) be honored, or does this mean the IRS will see me filing my federal turn after the deadline?

Yes, the date submitted of April 14 will be honored.
Even if your return is still 'Pending' for 48 hours after Efiling, the original filing date is considered valid.
