My son's wife's spousal visa was approved in January 2023, and she received her Green Card after that, I think dated in February 2023. She did not have any income in 2023 for the period prior to the date of her Green Card. Does this make her a dual status alien for 2023, or can she be treated as a U.S. resident for the entire year?
