Rejected Extension by IRS but online status is still "accepted"

I submitted an extension via Turbo Tax online portal.  An hour later I received a rejection code IND-031-04 (incorrect AGI or pin).  When I log in to Turbo Tax, the extension status still says accepted.  There is no way to update or fix any of my inputs.  

I've read through articles and can't find a solution.  Please help!

it sounds like you tried to submit your regular return and got rejected. Your extension looks like it was accepted, which is a good thing. Log back into your return and on the landing page, your status on your original return should show as being rejected.

@DaveF1006  I hadn't returned my file yet BUT you made me think about me submitting my kid's return.  Indeed that was the one rejected for AGI.  🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️  I fixed his and hopefully all is good.
