Refund status

So I e-filed on the 17th of January, it got accepted the 27th of January, its not February 20th and I haven't received it yet. I do have children that I claimed so I fall under the additional child credit but should it take this long? Is this normal? When I go to irs2go where's my refund it just tells me they have received it and it is being processed?

Yes, this is normal. Taxpayers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) will experience a processing delay. The IRS has just begun to process these returns. There's no way of knowing exactly when the IRS will update in any situation. You will need to keep checking the Where’s My Federal Refund? tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.
