Did you enroll in an Affordable Care Act a.k.a. Obamacare plan last year? If so,you should have received a 1095-A from the Health Insurance Marketplace indicating what your Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC) was.

Here’s how to enter 1095-A Health Insurance Marketplace Statement:

Select the orange button Take me to my return (or continue your return if using a CD/download).
Select the Health Insurance section in the Federal Taxes tab.
When asked if you had health insurance in 2016, select the option that applies to you, and Continue.
When asked about being enrolled in any of these less common plans in 2016, select Yes.
On the What type of plan were you enrolled in? screen, select Obamacare plan (1095-A), and then Continue.
Follow the prompts to enter your 1095-A. This will generate form 8962 for the IRS.

If you did not receive a 1095-A and believe you should have, contact the Health Insurance Marketplace at 1-800-318-2596 or go to their website: https://www.healthcare.gov/

If you received a letter from the IRS requesting the Form 8962 and/or a Form 1095-A and you did not have Marketplace Insurance in 2019 then the IRS has incorrect health insurance information on you.  Call the phone number provided in the IRS letter on Monday and speak with an agent to get this problem resolved.
