Ready to file my taxes my Florida state ID has my maiden name on it I was only married 3 weeks 8 year's ago but my SS card has my married name is that going tohurtmytaxes

The court house when I got my Florida Id they gave me the option to go by either name but the social security office will not change the last name untill I get divorce. Is the going to effect my taxes I am working on the divorce deal but I don't know what state he is in or anything like I said it was 8 year's ago and for only 3 week's

The name on your tax return should match the name you have on record with the Social Security Administration.

If you were married or divorced during the tax year, and changed your name, make sure that the name on your tax return matches the name registered with the Social Security Administration (SSA). If they do not match, your tax refund could be delayed.

I have put my tax return under the name that's on file at the social security office i am ready to submit my taxes I am at the very end where its telling me to enter my DL or St ID number and expiration date and state it was issued in where my ID has my maiden name on how is this going to effect my taxes.
