Purchased deluxe download to file multiple returns and accidently applied free state to the wrong return. Can I move the free state tax to the right return?

Yes, you can use one state as many times as you use the federal (unlimited returns, up to 5 e-files). To add the state to the correct return in TurboTax Deluxe Desktop:

1. Open TurboTax Deluxe Download
2. Select "continue" on the return
3. Click "state" tab
4. When you see "Let's work on your state return" select the state you own

To purchase another state, if you need it, click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen, and "Download State". Follow the screen instructions to complete your purchase and download. (This is only if you need a different state)

The state e-file fee will apply to all states that are e-filed.
