Processing fees billed twice

So in 2023 when I filed my taxes, with turbo tax. I had to amend my taxes, so I knew and TT knew it was going to be longer, in May I got a direct withdrawal from my checking account stating bc my taxes hadn’t deposited they were going to go ahead and take my processing fees. Then in June when they finally deposited, they took another $200!!
I have tried every way to get someone to help and refund that money and everyone I speak to says one thing and never helps.

If you chose refund processing---- to have your fees deducted from your federal refund by a third party bank-- and the IRS delayed or reduced your refund, the refund processing agreement that you signed said that TT had the right to go into your bank account and take out its fees.

You say that you finally got your refund in June.   Did you check to see if the IRS issued the amount that you ultimately received in June---maybe the IRS reduced your refund by that $200.   So make certain of how much the IRS sent.

If the IRS sent your refund and the third party bank took out TT fees again, they were not supposed to do that.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com

What is Refund Processing Service?

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”
