Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
What does the state notice you received indicate as an issue?

Of course you are correct. But I only stumbled into this community chat because intuit TurboTax had so cleverly hidden access to the Audit Defense I’ve been paying for annually but had never before had a reason to use. After resolutely rousting about in the Customer Support section for over ½ hour and leaving that post which you so kindly responded to, I found a phone # which turned out to link to a customer support service (NOT the audit defense service I’ve paid for) that had already closed for the day. (8:30 pm EDT) After all, who ever heard of TurboTax customers wrestling with tax issues after hours?? Keeping a shift of 20 customer support staff working after hours would cost Inuit $300-400/hour, which would cut into their quarterly profits.
