On my w2 shows 9 numbers for state ID but when I try to file it’s making me only put 6. I’m not sure how to fix that since it’s actually 9 numbers

Which state are you filing?

Are there three zeros (000) on the front or back of the number?

Filing for Kentucky and there are no zeros at the begging or end. It won’t allow me to proceed because it says that it’s too long. 

Either enter just the first 6 digits or if that causes a problem/rejection, then just enter the last 6 digits.
